From the Upper Trailhead off of Shut -in Gap Road, the trail descends ten moderate miles one way along the Piney River.  Along the way you'll see White Pine Cascades and Deep Pool Cascades.  Also in the area is the Twin Rocks Trail; the trail  is 2.4 moderate miles roundtrip.

Directions: From Crossville: South on TN 68 to a right turn onto Shut-in Gap Road.  1.4 miles on the right is a parking area.  The trail begins across from the parking area.
